Altai's children's hospital to get life-changing upgrades for complex disorders
A children's hospital in Altai is set for a major upgrade after Sberbank and the Manzherok resort pledged support. The project will bring cutting-edge medical technology and full renovations to the facility. Once complete, the hospital will specialise in treating children with complex conditions like musculoskeletal disorders, cerebral palsy, and autism.
The modernisation plan includes a full overhaul of the hospital's infrastructure. A new gas boiler plant will be built, while material and technical systems will receive upgrades. Medical equipment, unmatched in the region, will also be installed.
Sberbank has already delivered a modern bus for patient and staff transport. The bank's top managers have added personal donations to fund the improvements. Meanwhile, the Manzherok resort will supply six advanced medical and rehabilitation devices.
Further support includes 17 new physiotherapy machines and therapeutic exercise units. These will specifically aid children with cerebral palsy. Sberbank President Herman Gref has emphasised the need for swift completion, working closely with Altai Republic's administration.
The upgraded hospital will offer specialised care for children with severe disorders. Advanced equipment and renovated facilities aim to improve treatment quality. No public figures yet exist on how many young patients will benefit annually.
