Promomed's Award-Winning Autoinjector Secures Major Production Deal in Russia

Promomed has secured an agreement with the Industrial Development Fund at the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The deal supports the production of its Tirzetta Autoinjector, a device recently recognised for innovation. The award-winning product aims to simplify medication delivery for patients. The Tirzetta Autoinjector won the Fashion People Awards Teens 2026 for 'Best Tech Solution'. Designed by Promomed, it is a single-use, preloaded device that administers injections with a simple press against the skin. Patients no longer need to measure doses or handle needles, making the process easier.

The device is especially useful for obesity treatment and weight management, where long-term adherence is critical. Promomed developed it to reduce psychological discomfort around self-injection, removing barriers that can make therapy feel burdensome.

Under the new agreement, Promomed will begin small-batch, full-cycle production of specialised medications in Russia. Industry experts see this as a significant advancement for the country’s pharmaceutical sector. The Tirzetta Autoinjector simplifies the use of Tirzetta medication. Its user-friendly design is expected to improve patient compliance in long-term treatments. The production initiative marks a notable development for Russia’s pharmaceutical industry.
