UAE doctors warn travelers of Hantavirus risks during Eid holidays

Doctors in the UAE have urged residents travelling for the Eid holidays to take extra precautions against infections. They highlighted the risk of Hantavirus, which spreads through contact with rodent waste in poorly ventilated areas. Vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly, and pregnant women, are advised to be especially careful. Hantavirus can be contracted by breathing in contaminated air or touching surfaces exposed to rodent urine, droppings, or saliva.
