Free medical examinations for fitness enthusiasts are now available at Health Centers in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The screenings aim to uncover hidden health risks and prevent injuries, going beyond basic BMI calculations. They are offered at no cost to holders of compulsory health insurance policies. The service launched at Polyclinics No. 4 and No. 30 in Nizhny Novgorod, with 15 adult Health Centers operating across the region. Each examination includes bioelectrical impedance analysis, providing a detailed assessment of body composition. Licensed physicians conduct the procedure using professional, high-precision stationary equipment.

Appointments can be booked online through the Nizhny Novgorod Region Patient Portal. From September 1, MRI scans without a referral will only be accessible at private clinics. The screenings offer a thorough health evaluation for active individuals. They help detect potential issues early, supporting safer fitness practices. The initiative is part of the region’s broader healthcare services for residents.
