Mandsaur Hospital to Get New Mammography Machine by June End

The District Hospital in Mandsaur will soon have a new mammography machine. The equipment, worth around Rs 45 lakh, aims to improve local access to advanced medical screening. Support for the project comes from the family of social worker Pradeep Ganediwal and the Rotary Club of Mandsaur. District Collector Aditi Garg has already allocated space within the hospital for the installation. Technical preparations are now underway to set up the state-of-the-art machine, which is being installed in memory of late Ranchhod Prasad Ganediwal.

Once operational, the facility will allow doctors to detect breast cancer early and start treatment promptly. Women in the district will no longer need to travel to other cities for mammography tests. The Ganediwal family has also contributed to a modern cardiac ambulance project to bolster emergency healthcare services.

Rotary Club officials stated that these efforts will enhance healthcare infrastructure in Mandsaur. They expect the services to begin by the end of June. The new mammography machine will benefit thousands of women across the district. It will provide early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, reducing the need for travel to distant cities. The initiative also strengthens emergency care through the additional cardiac ambulance project.
