Results showed a strong correlation between the two methods, confirming SCG’s reliability as a proxy for fitness evaluation.
Advanced signal processing and machine learning were used to analyse the complex mechanical patterns of heart activity in SCG data. This revealed detailed insights into heart mechanics, providing a richer dataset than conventional assessments.
SCG enables remote health monitoring, allowing elderly individuals to measure their cardiorespiratory fitness at home. Its non-invasive nature aligns with personalised medicine, supporting continuous tracking and tailored interventions. The integration of SCG marks a significant shift in cardiovascular health assessment for older adults.
