MLA Demands Anti-Rabies Shots At CHC In Kasrawad

Kasrawad faces anti-rabies vaccine shortage amid rising animal bites

Residents in Kasrawad have raised concerns over the lack of anti-rabies injections at the local Community Health Centre. The shortage comes as animal bites in the area remain a persistent issue, increasing the need for urgent medical supplies. MLA Sachin Yadav has taken action by writing to the Khargone Collector. He demanded the immediate availability of anti-rabies injections at the centre. Yadav has also been pushing for the upgradation of Kasrawad Community Health Centre to a civil hospital since 2013.

Separately, development work has begun in the region. District Panchayat President Anubai Tanwar inaugurated the construction of a boundary wall at Rajput Dharamshala during a Bhoomi Pujan ceremony. Gram Panchayat Sameda approved Rs 6.79 lakh for this project, marking the first time a local panchayat has funded such an initiative. An additional Rs 5 lakh was allocated for installing paver blocks within the dharamshala complex. The health centre continues to face criticism for its lack of essential treatments. Meanwhile, the new boundary wall and paver blocks at Rajput Dharamshala signal progress in local infrastructure. The community awaits resolution on both the medical and developmental fronts.
