A safety awareness event took place at Magadan's Lyceum No. 14 as part of the regional 'Safe Summer' campaign. The gathering focused on educating children about road safety, healthy habits, and protection from harmful influences. The event saw collaboration between traffic police, the regional Drug Control Directorate of the Interior Ministry (UNK), the Emergency Ministry, and the 'Yunost' Youth Center. Traffic police showcased a patrol car, letting children explore its interior during a live demonstration.

A 'Safety Lab' mobile station was set up for interactive learning. Children solved riddles and reviewed road signs to reinforce their understanding of safety rules. Major Svetlana Dugayeva from UNK also addressed the group, warning about the dangers of drug use and introducing the 'Time of the INdependent' campaign. The initiative provided hands-on learning for children on critical safety topics. Organisers hopes the activities will help young participants make informed, responsible choices. The event marked another step in the ongoing 'Safe Summer' campaign.
