A recent survey of 10,000 Russians has revealed growing interest in personal training. Over half of the participants said they notice online ads when choosing a fitness specialist. The study also highlighted regional differences in willingness to pay for such services. The survey found that 67% of respondents were considering working with a personal trainer. Among them, 45% sought help for weight loss, while 38% aimed to maintain their fitness. Another 18% were interested in rehabilitation or post-injury training.
When it came to costs, 35% were willing to pay between 3,000 and 7,000 rubles per month. A further 33% would spend up to 3,000 rubles. Residents of Krasnodar Krai were prepared to pay an average of 3,776 rubles monthly for personal training.
In Moscow, demand for personal trainers surged in early 2026. Job offers for trainers rose by 52%, with average salaries reaching 64,600 rubles per month. Similar salary increases were noted in Moscow Oblast and Crimea. The survey shows a clear trend towards personal training in Russia. More people are turning to fitness specialists for weight loss, maintenance, and recovery. Regional salary data suggests strong demand, particularly in major cities and tourist areas.
