Penang's First Senior Living Resort to Open in Balik Pulau by 2027

Penang’s first integrated senior living resort, Eden at Botanica CT, is set to open in Balik Pulau in 2027. The development promises a quality retirement lifestyle within a self-contained township. It offers a peaceful retreat while keeping the city within easy reach. Eden at Botanica CT is a joint venture between Eden-On-The-Park Sdn Bhd and Botanica Hills Sdn Bhd. Founded by Directors Dato' Seri Kenny Ong and Victor Fong, the project aims to create a holistic environment for retirees. The development will feature 350 purpose-built residential units for individuals aged 60 and above, with provisions for secondary residents under 60.

The residences include practical features like wider layouts and lower switch points to improve accessibility. Construction is scheduled for completion in July 2027. The resort is developed by Eden at Botanica CT Sdn Bhd, a company formed specifically for this project.
