Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Health has announced the winners of its annual healthcare awards. The ceremony recognised outstanding medical institutions across the country for their contributions to public health. Health Minister Akmural Alnazarova highlighted the achievements of both professionals and facilities setting new standards in care. Almaty’s City Emergency and Urgent Care Hospital received the title of Best Hospital. As one of the largest multidisciplinary medical centres in Kazakhstan, it plays a vital role in providing advanced treatment and emergency services.
Almaty City Polyclinic No. 17 was named Best Polyclinic of 2025. The clinic stands out for its strong performance in preventive programs, maternal and child health monitoring, and high patient satisfaction rates.
Zhas Asyl, linked to Polyclinic No. 2 in Semey, earned the award for Best Youth Health Center. It actively runs initiatives focused on reproductive health, disease prevention, and promoting healthy lifestyles among young people.
Turkestan Regional Emergency Medical Service was recognised as the Best Emergency Medical Station. It provides continuous emergency care to residents across the region, ensuring rapid response when needed. The Ministry of Health underlined the importance of competition, best practice sharing, and success stories in modernising the country’s healthcare system. These awards highlight the institutions leading the way in improving medical services for all citizens.
