Astana's Workout City Project Kicks Off with Free Fitness Sessions

Astana has launched the Workout City project to encourage more people to take part in sports. The initiative aims to make physical activity more accessible and promote a street fitness culture among young residents and visitors. The project will begin with a grand opening ceremony on June 21 at 4:00 PM in Central Park. Free training sessions will then run from June 22 to September 22, 2026.

Sessions at the Botanical Garden will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. At Central Park, they will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays during the same hours. Professional instructors will lead all sessions, and no fee is required for participation. The programme is open to all Astana residents and guests. By offering free, structured workouts in public spaces, the project seeks to increase regular physical activity and support grassroots sports across the city.
