Magadan's New 50-Bed Rehabilitation Centre Nears July Opening

A new 50-bed rehabilitation centre in Magadan is almost ready to open. Construction is nearly complete, with furniture and medical equipment now in place. The facility is part of a larger effort to revitalise the Gorokhotskoye Field area. The centre will open in July 2023. It consists of three connected buildings sharing a technical floor. Inside, patients will find medical and social rehabilitation units, physiotherapy and thermotherapy departments, and psychological support services.

A key feature is a specialised pool with an adjustable floor for water therapy. A multidisciplinary team of therapists, neurologists, and physiotherapists will staff the centre. Their goal is to provide comprehensive support for people with disabilities.

The project is part of the broader transformation of Gorokhotskoye Field. This includes new housing, social infrastructure, and improved public spaces for the community. The centre will begin operations soon, offering advanced rehabilitation services to those in need. Its opening marks a significant step in improving local healthcare and revitalising the surrounding area.
