Chaos at Central Hospital as relatives attack staff over patient's death

Violence erupted at Central Hospital in Ulhasnagar after relatives of a deceased patient allegedly vandalised the facility and assaulted medical staff. The chaos started after Bhagwan Nimbhore passed away despite continuous medical efforts. His relatives, claiming negligence, smashed glass panels, damaged hospital property, and hurled medical equipment. Several doctors and staff were pushed and manhandled during the outburst.

Police from Central Police Station arrived swiftly to restore order. Following the incident, hospital staff staged a work boycott, demanding stronger security measures and immediate action against the attackers. Authorities responded by promising legal action against those responsible. They also announced plans to station an armed police officer at the hospital to prevent future incidents. Protesters highlighted a growing trend of attacks on healthcare workers, citing inadequate security in hospitals as a major concern.
