Dubai's Rashid and Latifa Schools Launch Elite Scholar Programme for 2026-2027

Dubai's Rashid and Latifa Schools have revealed a new scholarship programme for the 2026-2027 academic year, targeting outstanding Emirati and expatriate students and reinforcing the schools' commitment to educational excellence. The institutions have also opened their largest, nearly 280,000 square metre, scholar campus in the Gulf.

The scholarships will support students entering Years 7, 8, and 9 under the British curriculum. Eligibility depends on academic achievement, leadership qualities, and skills in areas like sports, entrepreneurship, or Arabic language proficiency. Applications will open on October 6, 2025, and close on November 7, 2025.

The programme aligns with Dubai's Education Strategy 2033, launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Dr Ahmed Abdullah Belhoul Al Falasi, Chairman of the Rashid and Latifa Schools Establishment (RLSE), noted that the initiative reflects Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision for world-class education.

The new scholar campus integrates sustainability, smart technology, and facilities designed to boost creativity and academic performance. Over the years, the two schools—Rashid School for Boys and Latifa School for Girls—have educated more than 20,000 students. Notable alumni include UAE Cabinet members such as Maryam bint Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Tolerance, and Shamma Al Mazrui, former Minister of State for Youth Affairs.

The scholarship scheme will provide opportunities for talented students to access high-quality education. The expanded scholar campus and programme also aim to strengthen Dubai's position as a hub for innovation and learning. Applications will be assessed based on merit and potential in key skill areas.
