FEP unveils 2025 benefits with telehealth and 24/7 nurse support

The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program (FEP) has announced its 2025 benefits package, designed for ease and accessibility. Employees will soon have the chance to review and select their coverage during the upcoming Open Season.

Open Season for FEP benefits will run from November 10, 2025, to December 8, 2025. During this period, federal employees can adjust their health plans to suit their needs.

The programme includes several key features. A 24/7 Nurse Line provides free expert advice from registered nurses at any time. For those managing long-term conditions, FEP offers personalised wellness support—covering weight, diabetes, and hypertension.

Telehealth services are also available at no cost. Users can consult doctors via phone, video, or the Teladoc Health® app, making medical advice more convenient than ever.

The FEP continues to focus on practical, user-friendly benefits for federal employees. With Open Season approaching, workers can explore options like telehealth, nurse consultations, and condition management. Exact participation numbers for 2023 remain unavailable.
