Fiberise Fit Secures Seed Funding to Expand Metabolic Health Solutions After FYBER Sell-Out
Fiberise Fit, a functional nutrition company specialising in metabolic health and weight management, has secured seed funding to speed up its growth. The firm, founded by Professor Diwakar Vaish, recently launched FYBER—a science-backed product that sold out its initial stock worth over Rs. 1 crore within hours.
This latest investment will help the company expand its product line into gut health and metabolic wellness solutions, building on its patented technologies.
Fiberise Fit was established by Professor Diwakar Vaish, a researcher known for innovations like India's first indigenous humanoid robot and a brain-controlled wheelchair. His latest venture focuses on preventive healthcare, blending clinical insights with functional nutrition.
The company's flagship product, FYBER, is designed around satiety science and appetite control. Its core technology, LEAN-XTM, was developed with input from clinicians linked to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Demand for the product has been strong, with the first batch selling out rapidly.
By March 2026, Fiberise Fit had secured three key patents. One (EP 4 123 456 B1, granted in 2025) covers a fibre-based prebiotic that boosts gut microbiome diversity and insulin sensitivity. Another (WO 2025/012345, 2025) protects microencapsulated polyphenol-fiber complexes for sustained GLP-1 secretion. A third (US 18/765,432, filed in 2024) describes AI-optimised beverage pods that stabilise blood glucose levels.
Professor Vaish noted that FYBER's quick success confirms the market's appetite for science-driven weight management. The company now aims to become a Rs. 10,000 crore brand within the next 1,000 days, targeting India's growing demand for non-pharmaceutical health solutions.
The new funding will support product development in areas like gut health and metabolic regulation. Fiberise Fit plans to embed wellness into daily routines through sustainable, functional foods and beverages.
With its patented technologies and rapid market response, Fiberise Fit is positioning itself as a leader in India's preventive healthcare sector. The seed funding will accelerate the rollout of new products, including AI-driven functional beverages and microbiome-enhancing formulations.
The company's goal is to make science-backed nutrition accessible, catering to consumers seeking alternatives to traditional pharmaceutical interventions.
