Free Meiningen Seminar Explores Gut Health for Celiac and Gluten-Sensitive Attendees
A one-day seminar on gut health will take place in Meiningen later this year. Titled Holistic Strengthening of Gut Health, the event is designed for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. Organisers have confirmed that spaces are still available for those wishing to attend. The seminar will run on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 9:00 AM to around 4:00 PM. It is being held at Kombinat Meiningen, located at Nachtigallenstr. 13. The programme includes discussions on lifestyle and health principles, the use of medicinal herbs, and practical sessions on gentle movement exercises and Kneipp hydrotherapy. Participants will also learn about preparing healthy gluten-free snacks.
The event is organised jointly by the *Living Without Grains* self-help group, the Celiac Group of Rhön-Grabfeld, and health educator Luise Ute Baumbach. Funding from statutory health insurance (GKV) covers venue and speaker costs, though attendees must pay for their own meals. Lunch will feature vegetarian soup and homemade gluten-free bread. Registration remains open, with interested individuals able to sign up by phone at 0155-631 368 80 or via email at [email protected]. As of April 5, 2026, the exact number of registered participants has not been made public.
The seminar offers a mix of theory and hands-on activities for those managing gluten-related conditions. Attendees will cover topics from nutrition to natural therapies, all within a supportive group setting. Organisers encourage early registration to secure a place at the event.
