Asian Ready Meal Recalled - German Supermarkets Recall Contaminated Asian Meal Over Health Risks

An Asian ready-to-eat meal has been pulled from shelves across Germany due to high levels of bacterial contamination. The recall involves 'Topokki, Sweet & Spicy' with specific best-before dates, raising concerns over potential health risks for consumers.

The recall was announced by importer Kreyenhop & Kluge GmbH & Co. KG, based in Oyten, Lower Saxony. Affected batches carry best-before dates of February 13, 2027; March 10, 2027; and April 15, 2027. Consumers who have purchased these products are warned not to eat them.

Eating the contaminated meal could cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or diarrhoea. Authorities advise customers to return the product to their place of purchase for a full refund. German consumer advice centres and health agencies are spreading the alert through websites, social media, and press releases to ensure wide awareness.

The recall targets only the specified batches of 'Topokki, Sweet & Spicy'. Shoppers are urged to check their purchases and follow return instructions to avoid health complications. Further updates will be shared through official consumer protection channels.
