Girl's Knocked-Out Tooth Saved After Quick Dental Emergency Response

A seven-year-old girl in Vladivostok has had her knocked-out tooth successfully replanted after a cycling accident. The procedure took place at Primorsky Regional Dental Clinic, where a specialist team worked quickly to restore her smile within half an hour of the injury. The accident happened when the child fell from her bicycle, resulting in a complete tooth avulsion. Her parents rushed her to the pediatric department of the Primorsky Regional Dental Clinic, arriving just 30 minutes after the incident.

The medical team, including an oral surgeon, a pediatric dentist, and an orthodontist, immediately began the replantation process. They treated the wound, performed endodontic therapy, and carefully repositioned the tooth in its original socket. The tooth was then securely stabilised to ensure proper healing. This successful procedure follows another recent medical achievement in the region. Earlier, surgeons at Primorsky Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1 carried out a complex laparoscopic operation on a teenager suffering from a multiloculated splenic cyst.

The girl’s tooth was saved thanks to the rapid response of her family and the expertise of the dental team. The clinic’s ability to handle such cases highlights the importance of specialised care in emergency dental injuries.
