A 70-year-old Malaysian pilgrim has died of a heart attack while performing his religious duties in Mecca. The incident occurred on May 6, involving a man from Senggarang, Johor, who was part of the KT34 pilgrimage group. The pilgrim was staying at the Elaf Al Bait hotel when he fell ill. He was rushed to Ajyad Hospital, where doctors confirmed his death was due to a heart attack.

After his passing, his remains were taken to Masjidil Haram for funeral prayers. He was later buried at Al Sharayea Cemetery in Mecca.

The pilgrim’s death marks a tragic loss during his journey in the holy city. His body was laid to rest following Islamic rites, with burial taking place at Al Sharayea Cemetery.
