Man found dead in Dombivli home days after suspected suicide

A 31-year-old man, Lokesh Suryakant Nikam, was found dead inside his home in Dombivli West. His body was discovered nearly four days after he died by suicide, with police now investigating the circumstances surrounding his death. Lokesh worked at a printing press and lived alone. When his parents could not reach him by phone for several days, they grew worried. Neighbours later alerted the police after noticing a strong foul smell coming from his house.

Officers broke open the door and found his body hanging inside. A post-mortem examination has since been carried out, and a case has been registered to determine what led to his death. The tragedy follows another recent death involving Lokesh’s close friend, Rishikesh, who died in custody after complaining of chest pain.

Authorities continue to examine the events leading up to Lokesh’s death. Support remains available for anyone struggling with mental health issues or experiencing thoughts of self-harm. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
