Man's body found floating in Korai River after mysterious disappearance

A 60-year-old man from Barishal Sadar has been found dead in the Korai River. Sabuj Hawladar's body was recovered near Rajarchar early on Saturday morning, a day after he went missing from his home in Dakshin Durgapur village. Sabuj Hawladar, son of Abdul Aziz Hawladar, was last seen leaving his house in Chandpura Union on Friday afternoon. When he failed to return, family members reported him missing.

The following morning, at around 6:00am, his body was spotted floating in the Korai River. Local authorities retrieved it from the water and conducted an initial examination. No visible injuries were found on the body. The remains have since been taken to Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital for an autopsy. Once the procedure is complete, the body will be released to the family. Police in Barishal Sadar have not yet provided any official statements regarding the circumstances of his disappearance or death.

The autopsy results will determine the cause of Sabuj Hawladar's death. His family awaits the return of his body for final rites. Authorities have not released further details at this time.
