Neocor's new plant triples heart valve production for global expansion

Neocor, a Russian manufacturer of bioprosthetic heart valves and cardiovascular devices, has opened a new production plant in Kemerovo. The facility will boost the company's output of life-saving medical implants while supporting its expansion into global markets by 2026. The new plant represents a total investment of 346 million rubles. Funding came from multiple sources, including a 90 million ruble loan from Russia's Industry Development Fund, 80 million rubles from SME Bank, and an additional 10 million rubles from the Kuzbass Industrial Development Fund.

With this facility, Neocor moves from rented spaces into its own dedicated manufacturing complex. Annual production of bioprosthetic heart valves will rise from 2,000 to 4,500 units, meeting demand from state and private cardiovascular surgery centres across Russia. The company also plans to introduce transcatheter heart valves made from animal tissues by 2027. Beyond domestic supply, Neocor is targeting regulatory approvals in three additional countries—focused on Latin America and the Middle East—by the end of 2026.

The Kemerovo plant strengthens Neocor's position as a key supplier of cardiovascular implants in Russia. Increased production capacity and upcoming product innovations will further expand its reach, both at home and in new export markets.
