New dietary supplement plant to launch in Trans-Baikal's industrial boom
A new dietary supplement plant will open in the Trans-Baikal Advanced Development Territory (ADT). FRESH BAD LLC plans to manufacture L-carnitine, collagen with vitamins, and other micronutrients at the facility. The company expects strong demand across Siberia and the Far East for its products.
The project will receive 16.3 million rubles in investment and create 20 local jobs. Once fully operational, the plant will produce over 4,000 supplement units each year. The production site will be built in the Kadalinsky Industrial Park. FRESH BAD aims to supply retail chains, pharmacies, and distributors in the region. CEO Alexey Veslopolov noted that affordable supplements are increasingly sought after in Siberian and Far Eastern markets.
Full production capacity is set for mid-2027. The facility will focus on high-demand products like collagen and L-carnitine.
This project is one of at least 12 major investments currently underway in the Trans-Baikal ADT. Others include expansions for TorMet and MT Zabaikalsk's production and logistics hubs. Eleven new resident agreements, worth between 14 and 92 billion rubles, have also been signed. Additionally, energy and logistics projects targeting 900 billion rubles by 2030 are in progress, along with dam constructions funded by 5 billion rubles and mining ventures involving Chinese firms. The new plant will boost local supplement supplies by mid-2027. Its products will reach pharmacies and retailers across Siberia and the Far East. The investment adds to a wider wave of industrial growth in the Trans-Baikal region.
