Nizhny Novgorod celebrates Do Good initiative's impact on local children

A special event will take place in Nizhny Novgorod’s Nizhegorodsky District on May 27. The gathering will showcase the results of the Do Good social initiative, highlighting its impact on local children and institutions. Organisers include the district administration and Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy. The Do Good project has involved children from Orphanage No. 2 and Special Needs School No. 39. Both groups will share their personal experiences during the event.

Irina Zobanova, a fifth-year medical student, will lead discussions on the project’s development and implementation. She will also cover the charity campaigns run by volunteers at the orphanage and school. Alina Korotkikh, director of Orphanage No. 2, and Valentina Vilkova, head of Special Needs School No. 39, will join the presentations. Their talks will focus on how the initiative has benefited their institutions.

The event aims to highlight the practical outcomes of Do Good for participating children and schools. Speakers will include project leaders, educators, and students involved in its execution. The findings will be shared with local authorities and the wider community.
