Nutribabe Uses AI to Simplify Introducing Solids for New Parents

A new AI-powered app called Nutribabe is being developed to help parents introduce solid foods to their babies. Lisa Lin, the creator, designed the tool after becoming a mother and wanting a simpler way to manage her son’s nutrition. The app uses artificial intelligence to guide parents through the process with personalised recommendations. Lisa Lin began working on Nutribabe after her son was born and she shifted to freelance work. Though she had no formal coding background, she used Lovable, an AI-powered app builder, to bring her idea to life. Her husband, a machine learning engineer, provided technical feedback during development.

The app includes a recommendation engine that tailors suggestions based on a baby’s age and preferences. Lin described using Nutribabe herself as a game-changer—it made her feel more organised, confident, and at ease when starting solids.

Her goal is to refine the app through user testing before launching it as a mobile platform. Having previously worked in operational roles at companies like Uber, Lin now focuses on making Nutribabe accessible to all parents. Nutribabe will undergo further testing before its public release. Once launched, the app aims to simplify the process of introducing solids by offering AI-driven guidance. Parents will be able to access tailored recommendations through a user-friendly mobile platform.
