Olympian-Backed Matterhorn Fit Brings Elite Training to Fort Lauderdale
A new fitness and rehabilitation center has opened in Fort Lauderdale. Matterhorn Fit offers advanced training methods once reserved for elite athletes. The facility is now welcoming local residents with free initial assessments until March 2026.
The center was co-founded by Olympian Steven Kampfer and his wife, Tara Kampfer. Their goal is to bring professional-level recovery techniques to everyday clients. Currently, Fort Lauderdale is the only location worldwide under the Matterhorn Fit name.
The core of their approach is the 'Matterhorn Method,' a four-step system. It begins with diagnosing muscle weaknesses, then reconnects, reinforces, and strengthens neural pathways. Clients often report a major drop in chronic pain within just two weeks of starting treatment.
To introduce the community to their services, Matterhorn Fit is providing complimentary first evaluations. This offer runs until the end of March 2026, giving new clients a chance to experience the program without upfront costs.
The facility's methods have already shown results for professional athletes. Now, local residents can access the same protocols. With no other locations planned, Fort Lauderdale remains the sole place to try the Matterhorn Method.
