Pampanga's ₱50M diagnostic center to offer free medical tests by July

A new ₱50-million diagnostic building will open in Pampanga by July. Governor Lilia Pineda announced the project during a recent medical mission that served over 1,100 residents. The facility aims to improve healthcare access in the province’s second district. The diagnostic centre will be housed inside the Lubao Municipal Complex. It will offer a range of services, including blood chemistry tests, X-rays, 2D echo, mammograms, CT scans, and ultrasounds. These services will be provided free of charge to local residents.

The project is part of the *Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program*, which encourages regular checkups and early disease detection. Pineda shared the news while overseeing a medical mission that assisted 1,156 people from the second district. Beneficiaries received free consultations, essential medicines, and food packs from the provincial government.

Once operational, the facility will expand access to critical diagnostic services. Residents in Pampanga’s second district will no longer need to travel far for laboratory tests. The provincial government expects the centre to play a key role in preventive healthcare.
