Wiesbaden councils to discuss schools, heat plans and youth representation next week

Three district councils in Wiesbaden will hold public meetings next week to discuss local projects and planning. Residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and stay updated on developments affecting their neighbourhoods. Each session will cover key topics, from school expansions to environmental initiatives and youth representation. The Erbenheim District Council will gather first on Tuesday, May 5, at 7:00 PM. On the agenda are plans to expand Justus-von-Liebig School and discussions on the area’s municipal heat transition strategy.

On Wednesday, May 6, two meetings will take place. The Biebrich District Council will start at 6:30 PM, addressing the expansion of the WiMobil service area and the 'My Healthy Wiesbaden' health initiative. Later that evening, at 7:00 PM, the Kloppenheim District Council will meet to review its own heat transition plans and elect a youth representative. A faction motion also proposes collecting residents’ views on upcoming development plans under the land-use zoning framework.

All three meetings provide an opportunity for locals to engage with council members and learn about future changes. The sessions will cover education, transport, health, and environmental policies. Residents can participate by attending in person or submitting questions in advance.
