Yakutia's ZdravControl transforms healthcare with digital transparency and access
A digital healthcare project called ZdravControl has been running in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) since March 2023. The initiative aims to improve patient experiences by making medical services more accessible and transparent for local residents. The project is a joint effort between the republic’s Ministry of Health and the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. It focuses on solving common issues people face when trying to access healthcare. At the same time, it protects patient rights and allows public monitoring of the system.
Residents in Yakutsk can use the service through the *Yakutsk.Health* platform. Those in other districts of Yakutia access it via *Sakha.Health*. One of the key features is a medical chat service, which has already addressed over 5,000 complaints from citizens about healthcare access.
The ZdravControl project continues to expand its digital tools to enhance healthcare quality in Yakutia. By providing a direct channel for feedback and oversight, it helps ensure that residents receive better and more responsive medical services.
