Yakutsk's SMART Clinic Opens as Largest Outpatient Center in Yakutia

Yakutsk’s newest healthcare facility, the SMART outpatient clinic, officially opened its doors on November 24, 2022. Covering over 8,800 square meters, it stands as the largest outpatient centre in Yakutia, designed to serve 55,000 registered patients. The clinic offers a wide range of medical services under one roof. It includes adult and pediatric outpatient departments, a women’s health centre, and diagnostic and therapeutic units. Patients will also find a laboratory, radiology and rehabilitation departments, an urgent care room, a day hospital, and a call centre.

Built by the VIS Group through a public-private partnership, the project received 60% of its funding from Gazprombank. The modern facility is equipped with four elevators, advanced security systems, and full climate control. It can manage up to 600 patient visits per shift. Starting tomorrow, an emergency medical substation will begin operations on-site. The VIS Group will continue to maintain the building’s engineering systems until 2030.

The new SMART clinic expands healthcare access in Yakutsk with its advanced infrastructure and broad medical services. Its opening marks a significant step in regional healthcare capacity, supporting both routine and urgent patient needs.
