Menden's library hosts free talk on lasting power of attorney November 13

Menden's city library will host a free public talk on lasting power of attorney as part of its m3 – Free People Shape Menden series. Marita Hill, managing director of SKFM Menden e.V., will lead the discussion on November 13. The event encourages attendees to explore legal and personal planning through shared knowledge and conversation.

The session begins at 6 p.m. and will focus on the importance of arranging a lasting power of attorney. Hill will guide participants through key considerations, followed by an open conversation and Q&A. Questions from the audience are welcome, giving attendees a chance to clarify doubts and discuss individual concerns.

The event is free to attend, but spaces are limited. Those interested must register in advance by calling 02373 903-1600 or emailing [email protected] with the subject line Vorsorge (Advance Care). This talk is the latest in the m3 – Free People Shape Menden series, which invites experts and community members to share their expertise on topics linked to the library's resources.

Previous sessions in the series have covered a range of subjects, from creative projects to practical advice. Each event aims to foster learning and exchange among residents, using the library as a hub for discussion and discovery.

The November 13 talk offers a chance to learn about legal safeguards in a supportive setting. Registration ensures a place at the event, which combines expert insight with community dialogue. Further details on upcoming m3 – Free People Shape Menden events can be found through the city library's updates.
